Courses are held in our workshop classroom on:
- Mon and Tues 6.00pm - 9.00pm
- Wed 9.30am - 12.30pm
- Wed 6.00pm - 9.00pm - copperfoiled lampshades
- Thurs 6.00pm - 9.00pm (according to demand)
The courses consists of one three hour session per week for a period of eight weeks.
Students will learn all the skills necessary to complete any type of leadlight project of their own choice. Windows, door panels, sidelights, cupboard doors, mirrors, etc. are suitable projects to make during the course.
Class sizes are limited, to allow plenty of individual attention.
All tools and materials are available here at Annerley Glassworx for purchase as required, at very competitive prices. We also have a comprehensive range of pattern books for sale.
Copperfoil classes are held separately from the leadlight classes. The cost of tuition is the same. Copperfoil students need to have completed a basic leadlighting course at some stage.
During the copperfoil course, students should be able to complete two lampshades and learn all the skills necessary to make any item in copperfoil. If you are interested in joining one of our courses, then leave your name, address and telephone number and you will be contacted a few weeks before the next course is due to begin.
At Annerley Glassworx, we have an extensive range of hobby supplies. All of our leadlight glass is imported from the USA, where there are at least six different manufacturers.
